The angle of the coil spring pads on the rear axle of a JK changes as the vehicle is lifted. Because the pad is no longer level , it causes the coil to be "pinched" on one side. This causes problems with spring rate, coil retention, and coil longevity. These simple spacers correct the angle of the coil spring pad and provides the coil with a level pad on lifted applications.
