Rusty's Control Arms - Upper Mount Kit w/ Flex Joints
Rusty’s upper control arm mounts will help you mount just about any axle under your TJ, XJ, or ZJ. Whether you are replacing damaged stock mounts or installing a custom axle, these mounts will get the job done. Laser cut from 3/4" and 1/4" thick steel, they are cut to fit the bushing mount and to fit most axles; some grinding or adjustments may be necessary on larger diameter axle tubes. These mounts also use Rusty's Flex Joints, which are more durable and offer more suspension flex than standard rubber bushings. This kit includes mounts for both sides. Welding is required.
Rusty's flex joints are CNC machined for a perfect fit, and the adjustable design allows you t dial in the perfect amount of pre-load to keep the joint quiet and tight. The joint uses a spanner nut, so as the joint wears, it can be easily tightened up. Delrin bearing races and chromed spherical bearing provide exceptional strength and a precision fit.
