The 2013 Special Edition 10th Anniversary Rubicon marks a great addition to the Wrangler lineup, and those that have purchased this Jeep need a way to include a winch with the factory steel bumper offering. Well, Rusty's picked up where the factory left off and now offers a winch plate that works with the factory bumper. No need to throw away the factory bumper in order to add a winch, just add this mount and save!
Rusty's did extensive research when designing this winch plate so that it will work with most popular winches, even going so far as to request drawings from established manufacturers to be sure that ours would work without hassle, and test-fitting several winches in-house before releasing this product. That said, with all of the winches on the market these days it is impossible to test-fit every single winch to be sure it will work. Clearances are tight, and there are a lot of options out there. The mount includes a standard winch bolt pattern and will work withĀ mostĀ reputable winch manufacturer's products.
We designed the winch mount to accommodate the Warn Zeon 8, Zeon 10, and the Warn XD winch platform. Other reputable brands (including Superwinch and Ramsey) may or may not work, but these and / or import winches may require grinding or other modifications to fit.
