PLEASE NOTE: This battery box is designed to fit Red, Yellow, and Blue top Optima Group 34 batteries.
As our beloved XJ Cherokees and MJ Comanches get older, the battery trays take a beating. Years of exposure to battery acid can turn the tray into swiss cheese and prevent the tray from securing the battery properly. Rusty's now offers a bolt-in battery box designed to fit Optima batteries. No wimpy battery tray will hold up on the trail like our battery box, which is patterned off of our race-proven and tested battery box. The box design will bolt right into the factory battery tray location with no modifications. The steel battery box comes with a durable black E-coating finish and includes stainless steel hardware.
