Rusty's battery box is laser-cut from 1/8" mild steel and is CNC-formed for a precise fit. This battery box is a lower cost alternative to our stainless steel battery box and is designed for budget builds and applications where stainless steel is simply not necessary. Our interlocking lid makes it easy for battery removal; only two bolts remove the lid. We have pre-drilled 8 mounting holes in the bottom and 4 mounting holes in the back for easy universal mounting. Rusty’s box is designed for yellow-, red- and blue-top Optima batteries, Model Number 3478. Rusty’s battery box is a great addition to any off road vehicle, race car or truck as well as any marine application.
